Meet Your Seattle Chef Team
“… no one is born a good cook, one learns by doing.” ~ Julia Child
Chef Laura Taylor, CPC, Owner
Like so many of us, I grew up in the kitchen. Many of my childhood memories revolve around food, cooking, and a dream to open a healthy restaurant one day. Little did I know then that I was on a path with a collective of experiences to serve people in their own home kitchens instead.
Upon graduation from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, my journey landed me in Catering Sales Management and Private Event Directorship with Clubcorp, Marriott, and El Gaucho Bellevue. I was an active member of the National Association for Catering and Events for 9 years in both the Houston and Greater Seattle Area chapters, including board-level service as Treasurer and Chapter President. Through NACE, I achieved the CPCE designation as well as an award for Best Catered Event of the Year 2009.
After 10 years on that course, I left El Gaucho and took the leap into entrepreneurship. I love to cook. I love to help people. It’s a natural fit to start a company like Honest to Goodness. Now I cook for people who don’t love to cook, don’t have time to cook, or don’t know how to handle their special diet. I’m also a travel chef. Shhh… Thank you for trusting our Seattle chef team to serve your goals for a healthier lifestyle. Contact Laura

Chef Christine Gronseth
Working as a personal chef allows me to help promote the client’s health in a one-on-one relationship, focusing on the individual’s dietary needs. Over the last 14 years, I have worked as a laboratory scientist in the diagnostic clinical side of care. My career shift was a result of my passion to advocate for healthy eating and the prevention of disease. Cooking makes me happy. I’m currently in the last quarters of culinary school, finishing in March – I find joy in preparing food from the highest quality ingredients, utilizing seasonal and local foods whenever possible, taking advantage of our farmers market freshness, full of color and flavor, and showcasing an abundance of vegetables. Chef Ariana Sherlock
Growing up, food brought our family together with everyone helping to plan the next meal. For me, cooking as a community with family and friends brings great joy! I feel so blessed to help clients enjoy great food in a way that fits with their lifestyle.
After attending the Le Cordon Bleu Western Culinary Institute, in Portland, Oregon, I worked at the Multnomah Athletic Club for a couple of years, honing my knife skills and learning how to cook in a professional kitchen. After that, I spent over six years in the Oregon wine industry, writing recipe pairings and catering events. I have spent the last few years raising my two young children, while continuing to develop recipes for wine club shipments and local magazines.
I love meal planning and working with clients around their specific needs while challenging them to try new things. Having spent my entire life in the Pacific Northwest, I am grateful for the abundance of fresh, local ingredients available to use in my kitchen and yours! Contact Ariana
