Seattle's Best Meal Delivery Subscription Levels
We have plans available to serve everyone in your home and for the number of meals you need each week. The more food you order, the more you save on a per-meal basis. Each meal is a dinner-type dish comprised of a main protein and sides (either carb and veg or double veg) that you can enjoy for lunch or dinner. We will soon have add-on’s available for breakfasts, snacks, soup stock, and more!
Our meal delivery service is a Chef-Share: multiple households share our chef team that prepares lots of food for lots of people. You pay a base service fee for the number of meals you want plus a share* in the overall bulk grocery cost that is split amongst our delivery clients in that particular week. You can expect your groceries and packaging supplies to cost in the range of $6-12 per portion in addition to your service plan.

Q Do I have to subscribe or can I order for individual weeks?
A You may order for individual weeks as needed at our full package price. Supper subscribers who commit to 1 or more consecutive months of weekly meal delivery will receive a loyalty discount!
Q May I change my subscription level if I decide I want more or less food?
A Yes, please give us at least 1 week’s notice if you want to change your subscription level. Email Chef Stacey to discuss changing your service plan.
Q Do you accommodate special diets?
A Each week’s menu for Seattle’s best meal delivery service is designed thoughtfully to cover all of the dietary needs of our households for that particular week. Menu options will include 1 vegetarian dish per week and the remaining options will include gluten-free and/or dairy-free. Part of our sign-up process includes a food questionnaire where you can tell us about your dietary needs.
For the highest level of individual meal customization, our in-home weekly meal prep service is your best option.
Q Are the ingredients organic?
A For grocery purchases, we prioritize organic ingredients for proteins, dairy, and certain produce items based on the Dirty Dozen/Clean Fifteen Guide. Our seafood is from sustainable sources according to Seafood Watch.
Q How do I choose my meal selections?
A Chef Stacey will email you on Tuesday morning with a menu of 5 meal options for the following week. Depending on the subscription level you signed up for, we ask you to respond by Thursday at noon with your choice of 3, 4, or all 5 menu items from the list. If you do not respond by our deadline, we will gladly select the meals for you from this list.
Q Do I need to be home when my meals are delivered?
A Our delivery driver will notify you via text when en route with your meals. We aim to deliver on Monday afternoons between 3-7pm. You do not need to be home to sign for your delivery. Your fully-cooked and cooled down meals will be packaged in sturdy recyclable boxes to remain cold for up to 4 hours after leaving our kitchen. Boxes will be left at your doorstep if you are not home. Please place your meals in your refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible! We cannot be held responsible for meals that you do not refrigerate or store properly after 7pm on the delivery day.
Q How long will the food hold up in my refrigerator and freezer?
A Freshly-prepared meals are safe to eat within 1 week of your delivery as long as they have been stored at a proper refrigerator temperature and heated according to the instructions we provide. Meals that you choose to freeze are best enjoyed within 6 months.
Q What do I do if we can’t eat all our meals in 1 week?
A Depending on your subscription level, you may have more freshly-prepared food than you need in a particular week. When you order a larger volume of food, you can stock your freezer with the additional meals to enjoy another week. OR, you can share the extra meals with your friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers.
Q How do you minimize packaging waste?
A We dislike waste just as much as you do! Your meals are served in containers that are 100% compostable and made from plants in the US, including the labeling, lids, and heating instructions that are printed on recycled paper. Please compost and recycle your food containers and delivery box.
Q What if we’re traveling and need to skip a week?
A Meal delivery subscribers may skip 1 week per calendar month for no charge. Additional weeks skipped within the month will be charged a $50/week administrative fee instead of the full subscription price.
Q How does payment work?
A You will be invoiced after your meal delivery each week using the authorized payment method provided at the time of sign-up. This total will include your base subscription fee, grocery share and supplies fee, and delivery fee (if applicable). Households who subscribe for ongoing weekly service can save 5% on the subscription fee by making a 1-3 month commitment, or 10% off for a 4+ month commitment. Approximately 1 week after your delivery, our bookkeeper will email you a copy of your detailed sales receipt for your records.
