We are now taking pre-orders for our Turkey Brine up to 1 week before Thanksgiving and 1 week before Christmas. Please order no later than Friday, November 19th and Friday, December 17th! Your order will ship out to you the weekend before each holiday so you will have plenty of time to prepare in advance for your family feast.

Our Shoppe team is here to ensure that the centerpiece of your holiday table is moist, juicy, and flavorful. Cooking a turkey does not have to be a daunting mission. Trust the highly-skilled personal chefs of Honest to Goodness to help you with your poultry preparation!

Our Turkey Brine package works best for turkeys that are 10-14 pounds to serve up 8-12 people. If you are cooking a bigger bird, or multiple birds, buy 2 or more brine packages to feed the masses! If turkey is not your preference, this brine also works wonders with chicken, pork, and fish.

We have combined kosher salt with a variety of herbs, spices, and brown sugar as a sweet and savory infusion to soak into your bird prior to roasting. Brining improves the turkey’s ability to retain its natural moisture. Most importantly, the brining process is very easy!

**Turkey Not Included**

In a large pot, add 1 gallon of water & brine mix. Heat over medium & stir until salt & sugar are dissolved. Remove from heat & allow to cool completely. Early in the morning before cooking your turkey, combine 1 gallon of ice water & brine water in a 5-gallon bucket or cooler. Place thawed turkey (neck & giblets removed) into brine, breast-side down. Refrigerate or leave in a cool place for 6 hours, turning turkey over halfway through the brining process.

To 1/2 pound of room-temperature butter (not included), add in seasoning packet & stir thoroughly to combine. Remove turkey from brine, rinse with cold water, & pat dry. Preheat oven to 450˚F. Rub seasoned butter all over outside of bird & under the skin. Place turkey in deep roasting pan, breast side up & covered with aluminum foil “tent”. Decrease oven temperature to 350˚F. Roast turkey for 14 minutes per pound until internal temperature of the thickest part of the thigh is 165˚F. Remove from oven & allow to rest for 20 minutes before carving.

Your brine package includes 15 ounces of an herb-seasoned kosher salt mix, and a 1 ounce zippered baggie of herb seasoning blend.

Our turkey was excellent, delicious and moist throughout! The rub calls for a pound of butter, but you won’t need that much. 1/2 pound will be plenty. This makes a great turkey!
